What is the investment amount that is required for a South African business permit application?
In order to qualify for a South African business permit, the foreigner must submit proof stating that they wish to invest an amount of (a) ZAR 2.5 million in cash in foreign currency, (b), a capital contribution of at least ZAR 2.5 million or (c) at least ZAR 2.5 million in cash in foreign currency and a capital contribution of ZAR 500,000 into the book value of the business in question.
