Business Permits
ID #1626
What is the appropriate permit for a foreign partner or Spouse of a South African who is wanting to operate a business in South Africa?
If a foreigner has a South African life-partner/spouse, then the required investment amount would not be required to be invested. The process to operate a business for a life-partner/spouse is far easier (less documentation required) than applying for a normal business permit.
May a foreign spouse of a South African citizen or permanent resident operate a business?
Is a foreigner on a South African life-partner permit able to operate a business in South Africa?
