Medical Aid in South Afrca
How does my age influence my medical aid premium in South Africa?
If you are over the age of 35, your age will affect your medical aid premium
Your age will determine if a Late Joiner Penalty (LJP) will be added to your premium and if so to what degree you will be penalized. This only applies to people immigrating to South Africa that are over the age of 35. The reason for this is that you have not contributed to the South African contribution pool, and the older you are over 35 the more likely it is that you will have medical problems.
If you would like more information on how this medical aid in South Africa works, you can contact our medical expert Werner Stoltz on werner@incompass.co.za or you can click here to send your information through for a free quotation.
