Where can an application for South African residency be submitted?
For a foriegn applicant wishing to immigrate to South Africa, there are two options that can be considered, if a person wishes to apply for a South African residency permit (temporary or permanent) from their country of orgin, this can be done at the nearest South African Consulate or Embassy.
A foreigner may also apply for a South African residency permit (temporary or permanent) within South Africa, this can be done at the nearest Department of Home Affairs.
