Information on Purchasing Property in South Africa
What should I check for when inspecting a house I might buy in South Africa?
What should I check for when inspecting a house I might buy in South Africa?
When buying a property in South Africa you must check the property for defects, ask the seller and his agent if there are any problems with the property. Ensure there is not an open piece of land next to the property and if there is find out exactly what is going to be built on the land. Check the roof and the gutters, check for damp. You can also ask to see the plans of the house to ensure that the building has been approved by the council.
