Who is responsible for the upkeep of a rental property in South Africa?
Upkeep of a rental property in South Africa
The lease is responsible for the upkeep of the property and must be kept in the same condition as when the lease moved into the property. However if there is a structural problem, for example, the geyser breaks then the owner of the property is responsible for getting it fixing.
