Work Permits
ID #2504
May I start working in South Africa before receiving my appropriate work permit?
Unfortunately, by South African Immigration Law, working before obtaining the appropriate work permit is not allowed.
Work permit applications do tend to take some time to be approved, therefore, it is best to seek advice from a Registered Immigration Practitioner before your arrival in South Africa to avoid future delays and problems.
